Transparency International Bulgaria presents the results of Corruption Perception Index 2015

According to the results Bulgaria retain 69th place in the annual Corruption Perception Index 2015.

The average value is 43, we have a value of 41. Across Western Europe, and within the EU, we are well below the last country in front, namely Italy. What surprised us is that Romania has pulled well ahead of Bulgaria.

Denmark, Finland and Sweden are the least corrupt countries. Among the best top ten rankings are also Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore and Canada. Tenth is Germany, along with Britain. US split 16th place with Austria.

Among the countries with the highest levels of corruption is Russia, which occupy 119th place.  Ukraine is placed 130th. China is 83rd. North Korea and Somalia share last place in the ranking.
