
Transparency International – Bulgaria’s expert team elaborated legal analysis on the motives no. 1, 2, 4 and 5 set in the Contract Authority’s decision for termination of the public procurement procedure for construction of the Zheleznitsa tunnel. Regarding the motive no. 3, our organisation approached the Road Infrastructure Agency with request for detailed information, as the available data is not sufficient for analysis and commentary.
TI-Bulgaria implements monitoring of the tender for design and build of the Struma Highway tunnel by initiative of the European Commission. The project, which is being implemented simultaneously in 11 EU Member States, involves independent civil observation of procurement procedures receiving European funding.
