Transparency International Bulgaria organized a press conference which represented the results from the work on the project “Civic Platform for Responsible and Accountable Governance,” which was carried out within the period November 2014 – December 2015 with the financial support of EEA Grants.
The initiative was realized in two main areas – Social care for Children in risk (children who have been accommodated at family houses after they have been moved out from homes for children deprived of parental care) and Ecology (keeping river-beds mechanical flow as a method of prevention against floods in the dwelling places).
Our web based Civic Platform for Responsible and Accountable Governance was presented at the press conference. The platform gives access to:
- Monitoring reports from surveillance performed at seven municipalities – the municipalities of Vidin, Vratsa, Pleven, Pazardhik, Plovdiv, Smolyan and Haskovo);
- Information upon activities of institutions within the social care area for children in risk and within the scope of ecology and prevention against floods in the dwelling places;
