Transparency International – Bulgaria participate in a discussion over texts of the Law against Corruption at “Civil Council on Anti-corruption policies”, together with members of the Civil Council and Meglena Kuneva – Deputy-Prime Minister.

The Council adopt an opinion that Law is necessary and offer a system for in-depth inspections of the property and of conflicts of interest for high-level authorities.

“Controversial texts from the Anti-corruption Law are revised,” and accordingly the person who is going to represent the Anti-corruption agency ought to be strong-willed, fearless and ready to meet the great expectations.

The other debatable moment at the initial version of the Anti-corruption Law – regarding the anonymous signals – is not cancelled but these signals are treated differently, said Kalin Slavov – Executive Director of Transparency International – Bulgaria – at an interview given for Bulgarian National Radio.
