On December 8, 2017, Transparency International-Bulgaria it will mark International Anti-Corruption Day with an official presentation of the results of the Third Annual Local Integrity System Index (2017).
Which municipality is ranked first in the Index in 2017? Which municipalities are at the bottom of the integrity system index? Who raises its results over the previous year and who are lagging behind?
For third year, the Index provides a comparative picture of the anti-corruption capacity, the role and importance of the municipal council, mayor, municipal administration, political parties, judiciary, police, business, media and civil society in the 27 municipalities.
The Local Integrity System Index is a three-year initiative of the Transparency International Bulgaria, with the kind support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
The index is the basis for the exchange of good practices and capacity development among all actors in the political process, civil society and business in Bulgarian cities and regions.
