TI-Bulgaria is organizing a workshop on Protection of Whistleblowers with focused on the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Bulgaria.
The event will take place on October 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the House of Europe in Sofia.
Key points of the discussion will include the experience of NGOs working with whistleblowers, the major challenges faced by civil society and journalists, and the opportunities for collaboration in providing support such as legal assistance, consultations, and psychological support.
The discussion will also cover possibilities for cooperation between the NGO sector, the media, and institutions.
TI-Bulgaria works in close collaboration with Transparency International and the Whistleblowing International Network (WIN) to enhance the protection of whistleblowers.
The event is part of the “LAW” project, implemented in partnership with Transparency International Romania and the National Integrity Agency of Romania, co-financed by the European Union on Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) program.
