Transparency

Transparency International – Bulgaria is organizing a forum on policies and practical solutions on the 15th of May in Sofia.

The event will emphasize the importance of business integrity, based on international standards and good practices, by placing it in the context of the global framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the European regulatory framework for reporting on sustainability.

We will put specific focus on the recommendations and guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, as well as to Bulgaria’s progress in implementing the national strategic framework in the process of joining the organization.

The envisaged panel discussions and interactive sessions will facilitate the sharing of experience and good practices and encourage dialogue on the implementation of anti-corruption policies and tools to increase transparency and accountability of businesses, discourse on the importance of ESG standards and the new European regulations on sustainability reporting as well as the challenges and opportunities in their implementation.

This session will highlight business integrity in the context of the recommendations and guidelines of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the implementation of ESG standards and the new European regulations on sustainability reporting. It will also address the progress of Bulgaria in the process accession to the OECD and the implementation of the corporate sustainability reporting requirements.
